about

Another unpredictable blast of ADD-inflicted, exotic shred guitar absurdities, Volume 2: The Rabbit Hole is a plate full of jagged riffs, daredevil solos, syncopated dissonance and frigid electronic sound-design, interrupted occasionally by the appearance of actual melodies.

As with all Sheer Velocity compositions, each of these was written and recorded in one sitting, usually in the small hours of the night, when no one is looking, and better judgment goes napping in the shadows. Volume 2: The Rabbit Hole is the soundtrack to your nightmares; evocative of car crashes and dystopian futures, it nonetheless remains unsettlingly in your fogged-over consciousness as dawn encroaches...

Reviews of Volume 1: Crop Circles:

"A precision-fingered assemblage of daredevil works...its exotic geometries will be impressed in the fertile fields of your musical mind" - FRACTAL AUDIO

"Like early Steve Vai with Rob Zombie producing. Really clever compositions and soundscapes...the best guitar album I've heard in years!" - ANDY WOOD, Down From Up
